Our Approach

A place of care
should feel like home

That simple idea shapes how we’re building Faro.

Aged care is about much more than buildings. It is about the people who live there, the people who care for them and the everyday experiences that make somewhere feel like home.

We’re designing Faro around that understanding from the outset.

Care centred
on the person

Every person brings their own life, preferences, routines and relationships with them.

Our approach starts there, with care that respects the individual and supports dignity, choice and quality of life.

Homes designed
for living

We want Faro homes to be warm, welcoming places designed around everyday life.

Private spaces matter. So do places to gather, share a meal, spend time with family, enjoy a garden or simply find somewhere quiet.

Good design should support both care and living well.

People
make the difference

Buildings and systems matter, but people create the experience of a home.

We want to build teams of skilled, caring people and give them the support, systems and environment they need to do their best work.

You might think they’re living in your workspace, but you’re actually working in their home.
