At its heart is a family connection to aged care spanning more than three decades, now continuing into a new generation.
Bryan Dorman
Chair
Bryan Dorman has spent more than 35 years in Australian aged care.
As founder and long-serving Chair of Regis Healthcare, Bryan helped build one of Australia’s major aged care organisations. He also served as National President of the Aged Care Association of Australia, contributing to the development of the sector more broadly.
Today, Bryan brings that experience to Faro and a belief that has stayed with him throughout his career, which is an aged care home is, first and foremost, someone’s home.
Nicholas Dorman
Managing Director
Nicholas Dorman brings the next generation of the Dorman family into aged care.
Having grown up around the sector and later worked within it himself, Nicholas has seen both how much aged care has changed and the opportunity to keep improving it.
At Faro, his focus is on building a strong organisation around good people, clear values and a shared commitment to quality care.
James Theofanis
Chief Operating Officer
James Theofanis is Chief Operating Officer of Faro Healthcare, helping establish the organisation and the foundations for its future homes.
Working across Faro’s development and operations, James is focused on ensuring the people, systems and processes needed to deliver high-quality care are considered from the outset.
He works closely with the Dorman family and Faro’s project partners as the organisation moves from establishment towards operation.
